Very Nice

I love the sound you're getting out of the POD Live modeler, a fellow metal guitarist (IE, Me) appreciates a good crunch with some actual harmonies added in. Have you ever considered trying out Superior Drummer 2.1 by Toontrack? That's what I use in all my songs; I've been tweaking it for almost a year now, and I'm still learning about it.

Overall, like the feel of this song, I just feel it could stand to have some beef added to the drums. Keep it up :D

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

I'm pretty satisfied with EZDrummer to be honest and can't really afford to get another drum VST ATM. Although I do agree that my drums tend to sound a little weak, I'd imagine that's more to do with my lack of effort in beefing them up than it is EZDrummer itself.

I do plan on giving my drums sound an overhaul though in the near future, as I'd really love for them to have more punch to them without pushing my tracks into clipping.

Thanks for the review!

Idea

Pretty badass. If you had some other stuff in it, Id give it a 10. Add a few different riffs and whatnot. I listened to it and instantly got an idea for a cool flash animation.
If I were any good with flash (working on it) I'd request to use it.

Keep going dude, you could be real good someday!

A few notes

I can tell this was all done with FL Studio. The bass synthing was good. Try to avoid using FL Slayer, its nasty. Work on drums more, and this could be good

thanks for input

Tastey

I liked the effects on the vocal intro, the guitars need to be a bit clearer tho. Would love to do drums for it if I could get a tempo. PM me if you wanna work with it, Check my songs for a sample of drums

9,5/10

The guitars are deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! I like that. But me thinks the bass in the guitars overpowers the actual tone a liiittle bit. Dude's right, drums are slightly off, but hey, they're drummers, I have that same problem with ours. I think that might be the bass guitar being overpowering. Idk, id say go thru and look at your peaks to see where everyone stands.

Other than that, sexy work. Add some vocals in there with that, and I'd buy it.

Check my shit out

We're gonna drop lyrics on all our songs eventually.

On my way! ;)

Sexy

Drop A#, are you breaking my balls or what?!? I hope that's at least a 7 string you're using, I think it's illegal to tune a 6 string down that low.

All I can say is bring the bass down a bit in the bass drum and shoot its mids up alot for a better metal boom.

Check out my stuff!

350teric responds:

Nope it's a regular 6 string and I agree that is illegal to tune it so low... That's why I'm saving some money for an 8 string and that would be a completely new experience! The song needs a little more production yes, but I don't have that much time to work on it.

Check my stuff in future for some other thrills! :)

Few things...

The click in the bass drum I like, but I'm a guy that needs some ass to toss that click up more. Snare is mic'd well. Bring the cymbals up some, toss a little shimmer EQ in 'em, and the drum track would be badass.

Vocal-wise, you have a good scream. Put some post work on it, toss a little clarity in the EQ, spread it so it doesn't sound like it's coming from my eyeballs thru headphones. Split the singing and screaming apart, make em both prominent in their own fields more, and you'll have a sound I like.

Guitars are fairly OK, bring the highs down a smidge, and turn em up so they're a bit more prominent.

Bass guitar, add some highs to it, I can't hear it without my sub on.

Other than that, pretty good track. Wanted to offer my advice from my recording endeavors. Check out my stuff!

Thanks for the review! looking at your stuff now :p

A few tips on recording...

Like Sagun said, the highs on your EQ are up way high. Better gut punching sound is highs down alot, mids up, bass up one more than mids.

Drums could use a good EQ, filter, gating, and bringing to the forefront.

You sound kinda hesitant or nervous in the song. I know the feeling, listen to my stuff.

All in all, I hear great potential for this song, one I would wanna collab with you on. That is, if you are open to it and think I can add to it. Like i said, check out my stuff and let me know what you think.

Left 4 Robicide?

I like it alot. Makes me think of left 4 dead, but its a robot zombie apocalypse. The drum riff at 1:10 brought me back to marching band. Was pretty amusing

Breed responds:

Yea sorry for the corny sounding african drums. I can't have a song without a percussion solo though.
